Alternative to Photoshop

The 'correct' answer is no, most software, even something as old as Photoshop 7.0, is still maintained by the copyright holder (or released as new versions), Adobe in this case and thus isn't something you can download. In truth the answer is a hesitant yes, I know places you could download it, perhaps even relatively 'safe,' but I would highly recommend another avenue. If you are looking for a free solution with most if not all the same functionality of photoshop, I recommend GIMP . GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program, but don't let the name scare you. It's a relatively easy to use and its a fully functional image editing suite.
